- It is a real PC hard drive, with an IDE controller...
- I have accessed it before, about a year ago. But now I cant get anything
- off of it...
- I've selected the same drive specification inf the CMOS confiugure (29)
- to no avail. It keeps giving me 1780 DISK ERROR, if my memory
- serves....I'm at work right now.
-
- I've tried changing to other drive configuration, but it doesn't help. I
- dont know what else to try. At this point, the only things *I* can think
- of are perhaps either the controller or the drive itself have gone bad.
-
- Or perhaps I dont have enough power? I've got the stock 2000 power
- supply, and am running 1 3.5 floppy, 1 5.25 floppy, 1 240 meg SCSI, 1
- SCSI CD-ROM and this 100 meg IDE drive. I've tried disconecting the
- CD-ROM and the 5.25 floppy from the power, but it doesnt seem to matter....
- HELP!!! (G)
